Why is my mom so lazy?

She is lazy because that is who she is, and everyone is letting her be that way. My father would never let my mom do that, he works and he expects dinner to be ready when he comes home. My father cooks a lot actually, and is a better cook then my mom, so many times he will cook things, but when he wants my mom to cook then she needs to do it. Which makes sense, just like you said. He also expects her to work as well, we have nice things and my dad would like help with paying for everything. I believe both parents need to contribute to the family in their own way, but they need to do something. Your father just is letting your mom do this, because my mom and dad's relationship would not work if one of them was like that because they expect each other not to be lazy.
