Adopting 2 dogs from cameroon, africa .. will they be healthy?

OK so i am adopting 2 basset hounds from a rescue company in cameroon to give to my mom for her bday... they were expensive (900 each plus 2,000 shipping) but they give you ALL your money back if u keep the dogs for 6 months which is such a good deal. i've already paid them the money and they said the dogs shipped this morning. but i'm worried, i know in africa they have a lot of diseases. should i be worried about that? the seller said they had all their shots and everything but should i get them MORE shots when i get the dogs or idk ..??
