I call BS. Police don’t raid a whore house on a tip from a p*ssed off wife. Vice sends in undercover cops periodically to all places that are questionable. I used to know someone on the San Diego metro vice, he and two other cops had to go to strip clubs, liquor stores and so forth and try to catch people. They would try to get the girls at strip clubs to agree to more, or try to get alcohol sold to them without ID. It is routine for anything to do with adult entertainment or alcohol/tobacco/firearms.
