What are your memories of American Graffiti?

Getting ready to watch the movie right now and I remember when it first came out it played for a whole solid year at the new multi-plex at the new mall. Nowadays the new mall is old and the multi-plex is three multi-plexes. (multi-plexi?) And, oh golly, Ronnie Howard, Richard Dreyfuss and Charlie Martin Smith look so young!
